Imagine a day filled with brilliant speakers, thought-provoking video and mind-blowing conversation. A TEDx event is a unique gathering in the community that will unleash new ideas, inspire and inform.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxMaldon, where x = independently organized TED event will be a line up of experienced and first time local speakers (or speakers with a local connection) who are aiming to inspire and cultivate change for the better. TEDx events are not for profit or payment. Speakers and organisers do not get paid. Income covers event expenses. Anyone who works on the event is volunteering their time for the cause of sharing and spreading great ideas.
